Success Coach/MCC Softball Head Coach

Mid-Plains Community College is seeking a hard-working, organized, and student-centered professional to serve on our Learning Commons Team, assisting students and colleagues in supporting academic success. This position will collaborate to identify high-risk students and proactively offer support services, including time management, test-taking, and more. The position will also coordinate events for the McCook Learning Commons, serve as the Learning Commons' athletic liaison for student-athletes, and work with colleagues to support a selected special population of students. This dual role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of recruiting and retaining a successful women’s softball team at McCook. Successful applicants should possess high-quality coaching techniques, including demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, a commitment to success in the classroom, and the ability to interact positively with the community. This position is split with 70% focused on Success Coach and 30% focused on coaching

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful
