Retention Specialist & MCC Men's Basketball Head Coach
Mid-Plains Community College is seeking a highly motivated, qualified candidate with a passion for student success and retention, The ideal candidate will embrace the demands of the dual role. The primary focus is to lead retention initiatives, build relationships with students and faculty, and support the Learning Commons and Student Success Team while also recruiting and retaining students and athletes. The secondary focus is to serve as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and oversee all aspects of running a highly competitive college team. Strong communication and recruiting skills are required.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience in student support roles or related fields are required. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Two years of collegiate coaching experience required and demonstrated knowledge of rules, teambuilding, strategies, recruiting, retaining, and planning are required.
