Part-Time Athletic Department Specialist

Part-Time Athletic Department Specialist:  McCook Community College is looking for a part-time Athletic Department Specialist to work 20 hours per week (Aug-May). This position works with the MCC Athletic Director and athletic staff to ensure a positive and safe environment for all student-athletes. This role has heavy involvement in game and event management, staffing, and preparation, as well as some administrative duties and oversight of the MCC Event Center, score table, and weight room. Inventory, purchasing, and overseeing concessions, as well as office coverage and clerical support are also required.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree required and 2 years’ experience in playing, coaching, or involvement in athletics or event management is helpful. Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills are helpful. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is also helpful.
