Metering and Load Management Supervisor

McCook Public Power District will be taking applications for a Metering and Load Management Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITY: The Metering and Load Management Supervisor is a top-level technical member of the Tech Department and performs the major technical responsibilities assigned, particularly maintaining and monitoring the District’s AMI and load management system, and special apparatus and equipment of the distribution and transmission system and performs other major technical and administrative responsibilities as assigned. To assist in providing required information needed for system improvement plans and budgets for the District. Provide the General Manager with progress reports.

SKILLS: In addition to those abilities and skills required of a Journeyman Lineman, the Metering and Load Management Supervisor must possess the abilities and skills to perform their duties, and inspire those supervised through effective leadership and work scheduling. Must have completed a training program designed for District personnel on substation, overhead, or underground special apparatus, plus metering and load management equipment. Five years of AMI experience with an electric utility is required for consideration.

QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of high school diploma or its equivalent.

WAGE: The wage will depend on experience and qualifications.
