IMPERIAL CAMPUS ADMINISTRATOR

Mid-Plains Community College is now accepting applications for the position of Campus Administrator.  Seeking a motivated, flexible, high-energy professional to coordinate/supervise college operations at the community campus for the Imperial service area.  Work with Imperial area business and industry, community leaders, and education personnel to develop and deliver education and training opportunities. 


About us:  Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county district in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open-access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Qualifications:  Required:  Bachelor’s Degree; experience in education or management.  Preferable Skills:  Knowledge of the communities served and a willingness to promote the college by participating in community organizations/activities and by developing partnerships with business & industry as well as secondary and post-secondary education institutions. Practical experience in education, administration, or management. Excellent verbal, written and social media communication abilities, along with solid computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of the procedures used to develop college courses and training for the communities served from the Imperial Community Campus. Knowledge of local area labor/employment market and community resources. Ability to establish effective lines of communication with all MPCC departments to successfully carry out the mission of the college at the Imperial Community Campus. Good networking skills that will aid in recruiting and developing qualified instructors to teach a variety of credit and community service courses. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.
