Director of the Child Development Center

McCook Community College is now accepting applications for dynamic, energetic, creative individuals excited to work with infants, toddlers, preschool, and pre-K children and their families as the leader of our Child Development Center. Expectations include:

  • Create a positive learning environment that challenges and supports child development
  • Oversee daily operations of the center budget, curriculum, staff hiring, scheduling and training
  • Implement Policy and Procedure Manual for Staff and Parent Handbook
  • Maintain enrollment records of children and ensure licensing and ratio requirements are met
  • Grow enrollment and educational opportunities for students in the center and work closely with FACS Department to ensure a high-quality learning lab for MCC students

Minimum Qualifications:  A Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and/or work experience in early childhood education, daycare, preschool, or grades K-4 is required. Applicants should be strong leaders, energetic and dedicated to working with children and families. Ideal candidates will have a desire to make a difference in the lives of children and families.
