Chemistry Instructor

Chemistry Instructor – McCook Community College:  This position will be responsible for teaching survey and general chemistry courses, including organic chemistry and other chemistry-related courses at McCook Community College, a division of Mid-Plains Community College.  MPCC is looking for someone to deliver an engaging curriculum with high standards of excellence and someone who will be looking for innovative ways to take our program to the next level. This position will begin August 11, 2025.

About us:  Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county district in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open-access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Minimum Qualifications:  Master’s degree in chemistry or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in chemistry.  Knowledge and experience in using current educational technologies, including online instruction and interactive television, are priorities.  The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.
