MPCC is now accepting applications for an Area Business and Community Education Coordinator located in McCook. Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining established business partnerships, continuous creation and promotion of business trainings, vocational courses and community education classes, oversight and/or involvement in McCook Driver’s Education program, NDOC programming, Entrepreneurship, Ready to Work vocational courses, and annual audit and data collection and preparation. Additionally, liaison to Imperial Community Campus for the development of customized training needs. 

About us:  Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county district in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open-access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Minimum Qualifications: 

Ability to engage in assessment of community needs, deliver custom solutions in a timely and professional manner; including the scheduling of trainers, coordination of schedules, cost etc., deliver exceptional customer service, and travel throughout MPCC area. Must have strong communications skills and ability to work collaboratively.  Must think creatively and generate new opportunities for business and community education offerings.  Experience in consultative sales, project management, event planning educational programming, finance and budgeting beneficial. Willingness to take on additional projects as assigned. Work well in team setting. Bachelor’s degree required. Ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.
