Assistant Director of Residence Life

McCook Community College is in search of an enthusiastic and effective individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Residence Life. This is a full-time position aimed at enriching the residential experience for our students. The position has a live-in requirement.

As the Assistant Director of Residence Life, your role will revolve around enhancing the quality of life for students living on campus. This encompasses active involvement in planning and executing Residence Life programs and events, addressing Student Conduct matters, and contributing to student development initiatives. Additionally, you will be a key member of the CARE Team, dedicated to supporting at-risk students.

Your duties will also involve participating in on-call rotations to address immediate needs and providing supervision and training to Resident Assistants and Residence Life Assistants.

We are looking for a motivated, positive, and team-oriented individual who is committed to fostering a vibrant residence life culture. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, and relevant experience in student development, Residence Life, or related areas is highly valued.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree and computer skills are required. Previous experience in Residence Life and Student Conduct is preferred.
